Eurozone: Modest, Resilient Growth

With good financing conditions, improving labour markets and rising real income the European economy looks quite resilient but there are clear downward risks. The most pressing risks, apart from the usual global factors, are domestic: the first relates to the banking sector, which still needs to be mended; the second is mainly related to politics.
